We never know where we are headed or what our final destination is, but still we weave our stories and give perfect happy endings to it. Life doesn’t always go as we want it to and somewhere along the way we lose our way.
How do you feel if you are asked to leave a movie halfway through? Or eat just a bite of a delicious pizza or a cake! We don’t like leaving things halfway. But then why do we leave our stories half…
Here’s something I had composed a while ago. It’s not related to COVID-19 in anyway. I guess we all must be having an overdose of corona virus related news and write-ups. But if I decide to stretch this poem too have some connection with the current situation, it all can be summed up in the last two lines…Coz that’s what is keeping us afloat in this dark types. HOPE…

If you are a 90s kid born in India, you will remember how songs made us all fall in love with love. Music, especially the Bollywood romantic and the Hindi Pop, was a huge part of our childhood. We danced to the peppy tunes, hummed along with the singers, and played out make believe stories. I’m sure all of us must have longed to grow up and fall head over heels in love with someone just so that we could experience all those things expressed in the songs! Heck, I even wanted that certain someone to sing those songs to me…
I had written this earlier, but this seems to go perfect with Sue‘s Photo Prompt for this week. Hope you guys like it. 🙂
