    मै शायर तो नाही #4

ALMOST, it’s probably the saddest and the most incomplete word in the English language. It comes with a sense of some easily avoidable loss. Like the feeling you get when you miss a train by just a few seconds; you almost boarded it! Or when the last piece of chocolate that you have been saving turns bad; you almost ate it yesterday! Or when playing basketball, your ball bounces off the basket ring; you almost scored! It’s a word which brings a lot of near misses. Have you ever had an “almost” in your life? A dream job that you almost landed. An exercise regime that you almost successfully followed. Or perhaps a…

    Maybe

Love is many things. It’s the thin line that separates black from white and sometimes the seconds pause in the yes and the no. It’s the answer to all the questions and sometimes the cause of a millions of them. It’s the comfort in the thundering storms and at the same time a whirlpool of crazy emotions. अजूनही…

Falling in love is easy, but falling out of it is next to impossible. I don’t think you do really fall out of love with someone. You just get used to their absence. But somewhere in the deep recesses of your heart you still do foster the ruins of the love that once was….

    मै शायर तो नाही #3

Love never truly leaves you, especially your first love. It will always come back to haunt you when you least expect it; piercing your heart like a slow poison working its way. And before you know it, you get sucked into that relentless vortex of fears and insecurities. The demons of the past overshadowing the hopes of the future. Leaving you lost and scared of new beginnings…

    मै शायर तो नाही #2

Poetry is an escape. You may or need not be a poet per say but some unsaid words and unexpressed emotions can make you one. You can easily unshed your feelings in words than in tears. Most importantly, it’s easier to disown your pain when you hide behind fancy words. Your feelings are masked better in similes and metaphors.

    Into the Woods #writephoto

Yet another beautiful Photo Prompt posted by Sue Vincent. To be frank this photo made me miss trekking and all those camping trips that I had. It has inspired to me really think about shifting my schedule to make trekking possible again. But that’s not what I have written about…
