Tainted Love

Would she?

A Blast from the Past!

So, I have decided to re-post a few of my favourite write-ups. Starting with this lovely poem which was posted for the 1st time on 4th of April in 2016. Tell me how you love it! 🙂

PS: This also happens to be my 1st post of 2020. Damn. I should get to writing rather than just re-posting! :/

Would she paint her toenails red
To mask the pains that her tears bled
Would she laugh at a random joke
Just to hide the truth that her eyes spoke
Would she pretend to like the summer days
When her heart is full of hopeless greys
Would she play her part just well
To cover the fears which in her dreams dwell
Would her lips smile as the painted masks
Bleeding with words that broke her heart
Or would she dare to bare it all
Fight her demons and stand up tall
