Tainted Love

Moonless Night

Trying to challenge me by pushing me out of my writing comfort zones. I have discovered some potentials in me. So happy… 🙂 Here’s another try at poetry. Hope you guys like it!

Black walls closing on me
are damp and wet
like a prolonged moonless night
where the sun has forever set

Stars fall of the skies in the
thundering storms and the rains splashing
My own shadows run away from me
all the hopes and the dreams crashing

Lightning strikes opening a few old scars,
leaving back new wounds to heel
hopeless despair, echoing silence
and the pinching darkness is all that I feel

The dark clouds swirling Adrift and
the winds leaving cold hollow traces
bring back all the memories
the painful emptiness shattering me to pieces…
