Last Reflections #writephoto

Hello guys, I’m participating in Sue’s Photo prompt after quite some time. Here’s a micro tale for you. Enjoy!

All of his life he stood steadfast on the edge, balancing the time and the tide, and bearing the harsh wilderness. But as his days came to an end, a perfect sun decorated the skies, the torrential waters calmed down and amidst their crystal clear reflections, he caught the last sight of himself.

An odd speck of brown, standing proudly, wearing his scars like a crown…

Everyone gets a dying wish. He got his too.

Here’s my favourite quote from Khalil Gibran, incidentally it’s on “reflections” too!
